Both her Mum's mother and sisters were imprisoned in Asinara, Italy during the last Italian occupation of our country with my mother and two eldest brothers for about 3 years, until the war was over. Her grandma and my mother are great grand children of king Sehale Selassie who is also the Emperor. Great grand pa.
Hannah, hers sisters and cousins, attended with my sisters and myself the Sandford Schools for few years. We then went to England to boarding schools, while her family went to USA where her Dad was the Ambassador to Ethiopia. When later I joined St.Godrics for girls' to study Business Administration and Secretarial course, Hannah. Was there a year before me ans convinced me to becoming a boarder (which was very expensive indeed) and shared a lovely room in a family nearby the college, on her last year. We had a wonderful and happy time together. I am 4 years her younger and was able to learn so many good things from her. Once her parents came and we had a night out with them at London Hilton, where the couple danced the whole nigh.Hannah is an easy going, kind, gentle, well brought up girl. I had gone to Clarendon School for 6 years previously, being a famous Christian School, she was the right match to live with in my 2nd year in London. After completing at St. Godrics, I worked mainly I did a Counseling Degree. After completing at St. Godrics, I returned to Addis to work mainly in the ILO. I met Hannah several times, and found her as sweet as ever. She was a very good company and a wise friend to be with. She was a mentor and a counselor to me which I needed at that age and she did all that with a smile and courage.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12484574670258107495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15007829.post-65203257507700293462018-11-26T10:54:08.359+00:002018-11-26T10:54:08.359+00:00Lovely tribute to Hannah.
